Free Version Limitations
The free version has several program features that
different than the Pro version. These main differences include:
Right Wall
- the right wall is limited to 12 web pages or 3 walls of
information (the Pro version
allows 4, 9 or 16 pages per wall and 200 web pages to be open
at once)
Left Wall
- the left or back history wall displays up to 12 web pages
(the Pro version allows up to 100 pages in the back history and
can set in the Browse3D Options menu)
Sticky Wall
- one wall of web pages can be made "sticky" and saved
for reloading at one time
(the Pro version allows up to 36 web
pages)
4-Live
Mode - the free version does not have a 4-live mode (the Pro
version allows 4 web pages to be live at once with or without
toolbars)
Home
Page - the landing or home page defaults to the Browse3D search
page. This page can be changed for the current session by
using the "Change Home Page" option in the Tools menu.
System Requirements
Browse3D
is a very powerful, graphic intensive application. Therefore, a minimum
system configuration is recommended to effectively run the software
as follows:
128MB of RAM
(256MB on Windows XP)
4MB video RAM, although we recommend 8MB or more
Microsoft* Windows 95/98/ME/2000/XP
Microsoft Internet Explorer version 5.5 or higher
Microsoft DirectX version 7.0 or higher.
Note: Most
all Windows systems should contain the required software above.
System
Display Settings
Many systems
already have the correct display settings to run the Browse3D
Browser, however, if Browse3D does not run properly please check these three settings below:
Screen Resolution: Should be set to 1024x768.
Machines with
video card memory of 16MB or more should run with resolution settings
up to 1400x1050 or higher.
Color: Should be set to "16 bit high color"
(may run at a higher color setting with a large video card.)
Hardware Acceleration:
Should be set to "Full"
but if you are having trouble try one setting down from Full.
Please see the FAQs on our support page if you need
help checking the system requirements or making changes to any of
the display settings.
One of the Most Powerful Features
(User Selectable Links):
Press the Control (Ctrl) key while left or right clicking links in the
center wall (or any wall) to "user select" web pages to load to
the right wall. This is a great feature when selecting links
from a list as you do when performing web searches or using sites
like eBay.
Download the install program using
the link below or click
here. Once the program is saved to your hard drive,
you can run the installer by double clicking on the
downloaded file. The file size is approximately 2 MB and should take about
8 minutes to download on a 56k dial-up connection.
Note: If you have problems
downloading or installing and this file, you may need to turn off any download
utilities and try the download again.
The Free
v3.0.1 of the Browse3D Browser is offered, "as is" with no
implied warranties of performance, merchantability or fitness for a particular
purpose. Once you download the Free version, please read the
License Agreement carefully during installation.

Why
Use Browse3D?
Browse3D is excellent when using sites with lists like Google or
eBay. Just hold down the Ctrl key and click on as many links as
you'd like. Those Web pages are loaded to the Browse3D right wall for
immediate access while you continue to have full use of the center wall
Web page. Browse3D also blocks annoying pop-ups and provides a
complete visual history of where you've been on the left wall.
